POLITICAL DIRECTOR
Zachary Roach
Murray High School (2010), Utah
I am a viable candidate for Political Director because I have suburb research abilities and a passion forpolitics that is necessary for this position. For the past year I have attended many of the democraticconventions held in Utah. I have created a Young Democrats Murray High School Chapter and am currently inthe process of garnering support for it. I have been on my school's debate team for 2 years participating inmany tournaments all of which required a good amount of research. I am running for this position because Iwant to do the most possible for the democratic party.
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Molly Coleman
Central High School (2010), Minnesota
First off, the basics. I am a junior at Central High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, and am running for theDirector of Development for the YDA High School Caucus. Next, the reason why you should care. Director of Development is a role that I view as crucial to the caucus. If we are not working to build up our base andexpand the area in which we have an influence, we can never hope to accomplish any more than we alreadyare. By bringing in new people, new schools, and new chapters, we have the ability to bring about far morechange at a much higher level. The more chapters that we have involved, the more lives we can touch andthe more causes we can advance, which, after all, is what the caucus is all about. Finally, the reason why youshould vote for me (as cocky as that might sound). For the last year and a half, I have served as the HighSchool Caucus Chair of Minnesota. During that time, I have made expanding our state’s caucus a mainpriority – this has given me the experience that is necessary to do the same on a national scale. Additionally, through experiences such as interning for Al Franken and serving as the High School Director of the YouthCoordinated Campaign, I have had a chance to really be involved in politics and have come to understandthe issues that are most important to high schoolers. These experiences have given me what I believe is theability to serve in this new post, and the ability to do it well. Thanks!
Asher Heimermann
Sheboygan South High School (2012), Wisconsin
I am a a student at Sheboygan South High School in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I am a well known political figurein the Midwest and a popular student leader at Sheboygan South High School. I've been involved in politicsand community service since 2005. I have volunteered for many political campaigns and non-profitorganizations in the City of Sheboygan. Recently, I raised $13,735 for Barack Obama's presidential campaignfrom January to October. Throughout my life, I have given my time to help people of all ages to build a better

tomorrow. As a full time student, I understand the importance of respecting each other for who we are. Iwant to strengthen public education and ensure that America’s future can be lead by a new generation thatis educated as well as informed.
FINANCE DIRECTORCOMMUNICATIONS DIRECTORPARLIAMENTARIAN

I am a seventeen year old attending a public high school in St. Paul, MN. I havehad a lot of experienceworking with the Obama Campaign in late 2007 and nearly all of 2008, doing numerous street canvasses, canvasses, phonebanks, and a few literature drops and data entry sessions early in the campaign. I am apassionate Democrat, like all of you, and I believe that I offer sound judgement and leadership when itcomes to getting the nation's youth involved in politics.
