since 48 people were discovered with birthdays of 114 years or older. Before this was discovered, many thought North Carolina held the record. As reported by Susan of the Civitas Institute, 2,660 people over the age of 110 voted by absentee ballots in North Carolina. So it appears they can lay claim to having found e Fountain of Youth. In consonance with national law, those who have not voted in two or more consecutive federal elections should also be removed from voting rolls. However, this is not always done! Why is information like the preceding important? Answer: Information on discs sold by election oces contains personal information elements which can easily be used by an imposter to hijack one or more votes. It makes no sense for Election Boards to aid or tempt anyone to steal another person's most priceless possession. EIM's research to date has been impressive. Apart from those illustrated above, we've identied approximately 1,000 voters on active voting lists that had death notices conrmed by the Social Security Death Index. Some of these appeared to have voted after they died presumably zombies. ese particular ndings were reported to the State Board of Elections and the local oces in the form of challenges. A separate report that identied deceased voters was also sent to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. e need for timely removal of the deceased, and those who have not voted in two or more federal elections, as well as those who moved out of state, should be obvious to any reasonable person. Not until a few years ago was any eort spent between or among states to cross-check for multiple voting violations. A computer software program called ERIC was developed and made it possible to undertake interstate cross checking of property and voting records. In a joint eort between EIM and True the Vote ERIC technology enabled us to pinpoint 173 property owners who voted in both Florida and Maryland. ese culprits were referred to the Attorney General's oce in both states; the Florida AG is expected to launch prosecution eorts. Ironically, Maryland had the ERIC system prior to the 2012 election; a decision was nevertheless made to not implement cross check provisions before the Presidential election. (Recall that the 2001 presidential election was won by fewer than 600 votes.)

Fraud does exist and it does matter. For every fraudulently cast vote, the vote of one legitimate voter is disenfranchised! at should be regarded as grand larceny instead of a misdemeanor per Maryland election laws. Election Integrity Maryland will therefore continue to crusade for free and fair elections in Maryland and in particular current voting records. To that end, as more volunteers join our ranks our research eorts will be expanded to ensure that we can Assure Your Vote.
