Should you be elected, what are three specific areas you’d like to change, address, impro
ve or further research,and how specifically would you go about it?
I appreciate the opportunity to be considered as board candidate for the Willoughby-Eastlake Schooldistrict. Based on being a mother of multiple children within the district, I have a vested interest in the success,wellbeing, academic standing, and financial outlook of the Willoughby-Eastlake city schools. If elected inNovember, I have many specific areas of pertinent interest including:

helping the school district aptly evaluate and make sound and financially prudent decisions in the bestinterests of the student in congruence with community resources;

being a local representative to link the school district with the overall opinions and concerns of thecommunity;

to advocate for a strong system of student achievement based upon individualized student needs foroptimal success and achievement;

AND to advocate for drug education and bully prevention programming within the school district.
Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you?
As a Master’s degree student in Addiction Counseling, I am committed to high achievement and academicgoals. Currently, I am on the President’s List at Capella University with a cumulative 4.0 GPA for the
entire duration
of my entire Master’s degree
program. Based upon my academic standing and my volunteer activities, I wasawarded a John A. Mathers Memorial Scholarship on August 25, 2013 from Willoughby United Methodist Church.In April 2013, my husband completed his Ph.D. in business leadership which further underscores the high respectwithin our home regarding higher learning, advanced degrees, and educational pursuits.
