April 3, 2009Category:hops Recently, I have read several message board threads, specifically anextremely informativediscussion on Home Brew Talk, about successfulhop harvests in Texasand decided to give it a go. The wife haswanted a vegetable garden, so I thought we could put together a jointventure. While most growers choose around a 15ft vertical design, Idecided on a vertical to diagonal design that has been successful withothers. Based on readings, vertical growing tends to yield less hopsand produce bushier plants.We willbe building a raised garden similar tothis one, the middle will be my wife
