Capability Maturity Model (CMM) adalah model kematangan kemampuan (kapabilitas) untuk membantu pendefinisian dan pemahaman prosesproses pada suatu organisasi. Pengembangan model ini dimulai pada tahun 1986 oleh SEI (Software Engineering Institute) atas permintaan Departemen Pertahanan Amerika Serikat, Departement of Defense(DOD).
