1. A bank received a loan application from a potential customer. After scrutinizing the application the bank concluded that the applicant is not eligible for the loan. The bank replied to him and the letter started as under Dear applicant, We received your application for the loan but we regret to inform you that you are not eligible to get the loan from our bank. We thank you for showing interest in our bank. --------2. You want to invite the CEO of a company as the chief guest for an event in your college. You begin your letter as under ---Dear sir, We are happy to inform you that we would like to invite you for a seminar which we are conducting in our college on ----------3. You understand that your close friend has passed his MBA exam. You want to send a congratulatory message to him. You begin as -----Dear Rakesh, I am extremely happy to know about your passing the MBA exam and would like to give my heartiest congratulations on your success. ----4. A college received an admission application from a candidate and found that some of the documents were not sent by the candidate. The college writes to him as -----Dear Applicant, We thankfully acknowledge the receipt of you application for admission to our MBA program but would like to inform you that the following documents were not attached to your application. If we do not receive these documents within 7 days then we shall cancel your application. ------5. A CEO of a company sends one email to all his employees. The mail consists of a lot of information about the performance of the company during the last quarter. At the end of the mail he requests all of them to respond by giving suggestions. But the responses come only from the people working at the level of Vice Presidents and no other employee responds. What according to you might have gone wrong? 6. On behalf of your CEO you are sending an email to all the Vice Presidents of the company to tell them about his forthcoming visit to some of the US companies. How would you generate ideas before drafting your message? ==========
