Description

Analyses of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, HR 1 in the 111th Congress. The goals of the ARRA are to "assist in supplemental appropriations for job preservation and creation, give financial help to the unemployed, and will provide State and local fiscal stabilization, for fiscal year ending September 30, 2009, and for other purposes."
