Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji is very much in our hearts, because of the reason that He was the Master of the great Master Sant Kirpal Singh. So we have to know lots of virtues from His life history.
Baba Sawan Singh Ji had great love, affection and compassion for His beloved son Master Kirpal Singh. And today we have to know about their cooperation in the mission and that is also the need of the time.
You cannot separate the two because their mission was one and if you tell something about Baba Sawan Singh you have definitely to hear something about Sant Kirpal Singh: they were not two, they were one.
Hazur had many virtues which we need, especially in our present state of delusion and despondency. He always had a cheerful and pleasant personality. He had all smiles on His ever-glistening face. Those who have seen Him know that He had immeasurable love in Him for His children, as we are. He would cast such a lov¬ing and soothing a glance on us, as parents might after meeting their child after a long separation.
His love towards His children was much more than the love that hundreds of fathers and mothers have for their children.

Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji is very much in our hearts, because o the reason that He was the Master o thegreat Master Sant Kirpal Singh. So we have to knowlots o virtues rom His lie history.Baba Sawan Singh Ji had great love, aection andcompassion or His beloved son Master Kirpal Singh. And today we have to know about their cooperationin the mission and that is also the need o the time. You cannot separate the two because their missionwas one and i you tell something about Baba SawanSingh you have denitely to hear something aboutSant Kirpal Singh: they were not two, they were one.Baba Sawan Singh was so happy, even He was so re-ceptive or His disciple that He never liked to livealone. He always wanted the presence o Sant Kir-pal Singh. Baba Sawan Singh had given lots o duties(to Him) – as much as He could do. Master SawanSingh never wanted to make any Satsang without Hispresence. Tese were His own words: „With whomshould I make Satsang, who is the person that wantsto listen to me?“ Tere may be one in thousand whowas attuned to Him and He had to direct Him. So Healways used to wait upon Master Kirpal Singh andHe always said, „Go on singing one more song, go onsinging one more shabad.“ And He used to delay theSatsang o and on. Whenever Sant Kirpal Singh hadgone to (hold) Satsang or He was sent or some otherwork, He came a little bit late, but the Satsang wasalso a little late. Not a little late in that respect – therewere shabads (sung) and all other people started read-ing this way or that way – but Master Sawan Singhalways delayed it. He always wanted the presenceo Sant Kirpal Singh. So when He came, certainly Master Sawan Singh used to start with the Satsang. And what was the inner experience o our Master? He said, He used to see His turban already rom araway and then He was unable to come (nearer) and(He used to) sit behind them all. He said, then Hehad no courage, even elt no power in His body to goorward. He was so intoxicated and His whole body was ull o vibration (that) He made no endeavourto say anything to anybody. He said, „Well, let‘s sitdown.“ Some people tried to sit with Him becausethey knew that i you sit along with Sant Kirpal Singhyou will get something. And lots o experiences hap-pened with those who used to sit with Him.When Sant Kirpal Singh used to meditate six to tenhours a day and even Master Sawan Singh said, „Only this much!“ He moved urther. It was the time romHis sleep. He never slept. He took this whole time di-rectly rom His sleep. During daytime He worked (inHis proession) and at night time He worked or theGodpower – He meditated on Him alone. So even atthe time o Master Sawan Singh Sant Kirpal Singhhad become so popular that those who meditatedthey started to see Sant Kirpal Singh along with Mas-ter Sawan Singh within. So whenever Sant Kirpal Singh did not come andHe was ully engaged in making Satsang in outsidecentres, then Baba Sawan Singh used to go to La-hore where He was working in the military depart-ment and sent the message inside, „One old man hascome to see you.“ Sant Kirpal Singh Ji rushed romHis room and aer paying all respects to Baba Sa-wan Singh Master asked His Master, „Why did youtake the trouble to come over here? It was my duty to come to you!“ Ten Baba Sawan Singh used to say,„Kirpal Singh, there was no way out.“One time Master wrote a letter to Baba Sawan Singhthat He wants to have love or Him, but it must bewith due respect, with all respects. Baba Sawan Singhwas on some mail station when He got this letter andHe put it on His breast and said, „Yes, I also needsuch a love.“It was the eeling o the Master or His Master. BabaSawan Singh had one real disciple – Sant Kirpal Singh, who did each and everything or His Master (Sawan),

and Kirpal was sufcient or His Master, and BabaSawan Singh was sufcient or Kirpal Singh. Tey knew each other, but lots o people could not know.Tere were some, however, and they were also recep-tive due to the very near link they had with Sant Kir-pal Singh. I give you one example: Sant Kirpal Singhwas given a duty or Satsang in Rawalpindi. It wasthe home town o Sant Kirpal Singh, but He was inthe service. At that time He used to live in Lahore. From there He used to visit Rawalpindi or Satsang. He used to go by train and those disciples, living inRawalpindi, they always came to receive Sant Kir-pal Singh at the railway station. And when Satsangwas there they used to eel a vibration o the Masterand sometimes there was so much charging (o theatmosphere) that some people used to weep in thesweet remembrance o the Master, or they used tohave the vibration o the Master. So later on, whenHe was to go back, lots o people used to go to seeHim o at the railway station. In this situation Rajaram (a disciple) went directly toBaba Sawan Singh and complained about the wholesituation – that Sant Kirpal Singh was getting very popular in the eyes o the disciples and people lovedHim very much. Te respect which only Master de-served, now those disciples have started to provideto Sant Kirpal Singh as well. He said, that he didnot think this to be a good thing. Baba Sawan Singhsmiled and said, „It is no Satsang where people donot eel the vibration o the Master. Do you think then, when Satsang is held, I am not there?“ He said,„I am always there! What He does – I know. I love thispersonality too much, much more than you do.“Aerwards this Rajaram used to be very near to SantKirpal Singh. A time came during his lie that out o love and devotion which he got through the nearnesso Sant Kirpal Singh, he went directly to Baba SawanSingh and said, „Babaji, I want to tell you something.I have love and devotion or you, you are very highto me, you are God or me. But I do not know, aeryou, I have receptivity and love and devotion or SantKirpal Singh.“ He said, „Tis is right, you are on thetrue line. Tis is right.“So a Master needs a real one who only acts in accord-ance with the teaching. Te wish o the Master al-ways remains in accordance with the teaching. Whatdoes He want rom the disciple? He wants ull obedi-ence, He wants one to be the servant o all. In reality,Master is the servant o the whole creation. Mastersays, „Be the dust o the servant o the Lord, so thatyou are accepted everywhere.“Kirpal Singh always used to praise His Master. Andwe know those virtues only through Sant KirpalSingh. Some very blessed souls could also see those virtues and His highness, His holiness right within.Sant Kirpal Singh always used to say, „My Masterwill bless you, Hazur will bless you.“ He always said,„Sit in the sweet remembrance o my Master!“ What-ever He said, He said in the interest o the Master, with ull devotion and receptivity. And those whoollowed, they had one more experience: When they went within Baba Sawan Singh told them (inside),„You ask this thing rom Sant Kirpal Singh.“ Sant Kir-pal Singh used to divert the disciples towards BabaSawan Singh, and Baba Sawan Singh rom withinused to divert the attention o the disciples towardsSant Kirpal Singh. And what did Sant Kirpal Singhsay? „Do the mission o my Master!“ Tose who arethe old initiates, they know it very well. He alwayssaid, „I came near to the Master by serving Him.“And you can also do the same thing! You can also benear to the Master, that is the only possibility.“Sant Kirpal Singh became very popular because o His spiritual progress that He already attained. Hewrote a beautiul book, the Gurmath Siddhant, andin spite o His own Master stressing upon it, Hedid not agree to put His name there. He said, „My pen is the sinner o writing it, but it was only writ-ten with your instruction, without your guidance itcould have never been written. So it is your grace– it should be produced, it should be presented withyour name.“ Because the purpose o the disciple is toshow his Master to the world and not himsel. BabaSawan Singh agreed.I tell you about the humility o our Master. In theootnotes o the second edition o the Gurmath Sid-
