fully with the assistance of sample surveyed firms, many references books and web sites
that you appointed earlier.

This term paper contains a sort of information about the taxation on binding firm and
how they are imposed tax.

Though I have scrutinized the term paper, there might be some mistakes. So I apologize

 Abstract

Binding firm is a sector of business that is engaged in binding the books, notebooks,

calendar, exercise books, drawing paper etc, operated by small & medium entrepreneur.

Binding firm is normally exempted from the taxation on charge of all types of bindings as

mentioned in the VAT act and also mentioned in SRO. Fazlul Book Binding and

Anik Group Binding are engaged in such type of activities. They do not pay any VAT

to the VAT registration office but they pay VAT at source in purchasing any raw materials

or other materials. In preparing these report they made a great cooperation but they did

not provide any sufficient information because they do not have any. But they tried to

cooperate me as possible. I am really grateful to them.

 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

All the credit goes to nobody except Allah because without his grace I could not be able

to complete the term paper. I have utmost tied my best to succeed this job. I have used

several references books (authors and their respective books names are included in the

references) and external sources that helped me to complete the report. At first I would

like to thank my course teacher who has appointed me for this job. I would also like

thank Fazlul Book Binding & Anik Group Binding for giving me a sort of

information about their organization. I would like to thanks our librarian and several web

sites such as Google, Yahoo for helping me to search different topics of the term paper.

The references books were also unavoidable sources which have been used largely to

complete this term paper.
