Introduction
The 2013 Colorado Economic Impact Study documents how Colorado commercial and generalaviation airports support the state’s economy and the economies o communities throughout thestate. Estimates o economic impact were developed or jobs supported, annual payroll, and totalannual economic output.Colorado’s airport system transports people and goods to many domestic and internationallocations; airports acilitate commerce; and airports help to maintain Colorado’s outstanding quality-o-lie. Airports are essential to Colorado’s diverse business base which includes employers in theareas o communications, agriculture, energy, high tech manuacturing and tourism. Airports alsosupport essential services which include but are not limited to air ambulance flights, transportationor medical personnel, firefighting, law enorcement and search and rescue missions.
