Terms and Conditions. This is a selected exhibition. Artists / crafts people must submit works for consideration in the form of jpegs accompanied by a completed application form by the date stated. Entry and participation is free. SVA will take 25% of all sales, the remaining 75% will be paid to the artist. The artist is responsible for their own VAT. All sale prices must include VAT and the 25% payable to SVA. Framed works will be sold with the frame for the listed price unless unframed editions are also provided and it is clear that the stated cost relates to an unframed edition. The same will be true for any other means of display or presentation (such as a stand or plinth). All work submitted must be for sale and cost no more than 100. Works will be removed from the exhibition when sold and may be replaced with other works / editions. Works requiring technology for their viewing/presentation must be supplied with the appropriate kit which remains the property and liability of the artist. Artists / crafts people are responsible for the transportation of the work to and from SVAs Ashford office. Works should be posted or delivered in person to SVA. All works must be collected, or sufficient postage paid to SVA for the return of unsold work. The Artist / crafts person is liable for any damage sustained to work in transit to and from SVA. Any work arriving that has been damaged in transit will not be included in the exhibition. Therefore the sender should take all necessary care in the packing and protecting of delicate objects. No glazed work, ceramics or other fragile work should be sent by post. Any work not collected, or return postage arranged with SVA, before the end of January 2014 will become the property of SVA and may be destroyed.
