What: SVP raises money through selling on donated books. This role involves: Identifying the more valuable books Sorting the books which can be sold on into categories Separating the books in less good condition to be recycled Full training to be provided. Event Management Volunteers for Festival of Lights, 27 October


What: Unitas-ISAC is looking for volunteers to participate in managing their flagship event The Festival of Lights (Diwali) 2013. This is the biggest festival for Indians around the world, it is like our Christmas. November Rough Sleepers Homeless Count, 12 November (overnight)


What: The Rough Sleeper Counts are very important for monitoring the number of people sleeping on the streets of the city. This information is vital to maintaining the push towards the Homeless Agency Partnership's Vision of eliminating the need for anyone to sleep rough by 2013. Assist with a count of people who are sleeping rough across Dublin on Tuesday night/ Wed morning the 12th November 2013.
