Liz McTernan is a World ranked Paracyclist aiming to compete in the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro Brazil .

Among her many achievements across a variety of events she was World Paratriathlon Bronze Medalist in 2012. She is passionate about raising the profile of Parasports and a firm believer in Sport For All.

Liz took the decision to switch sports to para-cycling in 2013. She currently self-coaches and largely self-funds all her competitions.

In order to fulfill her ambition to represent GBR on the Para-cycling team for Rio 2016, she needs to compete in various competitions in Europe and abroad over the next three years. The annual cost of competing is considerable and she is actively seeking business sponsorship and funding support.

In return for sponsorship, she can offer regular progress updates and competition results throughout the year via an emailed newsletter, signed photographs from competitions, a Twitter mention and follow, company logo on her cycling top (unfortunately not allowed on bike-UCI rules) or van/car, a motivational talk/presentation to staff or at a corporate event, School assembly talk with hand bike and medals, or a Disability/Disability Sport informal talk or chat.

Liz lives in Louth, Lincolnshire in England.
