After applying the 11.1.0.7 patchset, the Post-Upgrade Status Tool
(utlu111s.sql) may report an error for the Oracle server component, however
the status is valid (reference Bug 7449757). The output may be similar to the
following:

The Oracle Configuration Manager relies on thec ro n capabilities of UNIX to
schedule the collection of configuration data. Ifc ro n is disabled or not
configured, the installation of the Oracle Configuration Manager fails (reference
Bug 6216079).

When using Oracle 11.1 Direct NFS client,O R A - 6 00 errors have been known to
occur intermittently under certain load conditions. To workaround this issue,
limit the total number of data files to 200. Oracle has a fix available for this issue
and recommends that the patch with the fix be applied to the Oracle Database
11.1.0.6.0 installation (reference Bug 6600634).

A new time zone file, version 4, is used with Oracle Database 11g Release 1 (11.1).
If you have not already moved to time zone file version 4, then you must apply
patch 5632264 to your existing databases prior to upgrading.

You can use SELECT VERSION FROM V$TIMEZONE_FILE to identify the time
zone file version when upgrading your 10g databases. The Pre-Upgrade
Information Tool (utlu111i.sql and its counterpart used by the Database
Upgrade Assistant) provides a warning if the time zone file version is not version
4, and it also updates a table in the database with the actual time zone version in
