Is a group of concerned citizens, banded together to foster the preservation and quality of thiscommunity resource that has been handed down to us from past generations.Dear Chairman James Weaver Minutes: Meeting of the Fair Board of CommissionersDate: 02/07/2007Commissioner Weaver stated that in his short time on the board he had observed that, a euphemistic“good fence” needs to be built over a longer term for better neighbors. Unfortunately before he would be willing to vote on any long term agreement, he would like to know that racing is the very best usefor the property long term. He acknowledged that a preliminary discussion must be held to evaluate the best way to proceed. He suggested that before a long term lease is realized, some thought needs to be put into developing a best use scenario for the property.

Since the fair is the primary objective, itwould best serve the fair board to evaluate to options available for using the property.

encouraged the board to think of this property in terms of the highestmission being the statewide agricultural fair and that anything else has to be looked at in relationto whether it would it enhance the fair or at least not hinder the fair.
