EXT. JANES HOUSE.

DAY EMMA doesnt even look at her father as she enters the car via the passenger seat, slamming the door shut. STEVE packs the last of the remaining boxes into the car boot and then shuts it. STEVE: (with relief) Thank God for that. STEVE then gets into the car, starts up the engine and drives away from the house. INT. STEVES CAR.DAY STEVE: (softly) Are you sure you dont wanna come? EMMA: (monotonous) Yeah, Im fine. STEVE: Okay, if youre sure STEVE hands EMMA the house key. STEVE: Dont worry about the boxes, just make yourself at home, Ill be back soon, okay? EMMA looks down, smiles feebly and takes the keys from her father and grabs her bag from the floor before leaving the car. EXT. STEVES HOUSE. DAY EMMA walks up to the front door, unlocks it and lets herself in. INT. STEVES HOUSE. DAY EMMA dumps her bag on the floor whilst walking along the hallway. When she reaches her new bedroom she immediately heads for the bed and lies on her back, staring at the ceiling, absentminded. A figure (DARREN) is seen walking past the house, stopping momentarily to look at the house before continuing on down the road. EXT. FRONT OF SCHOOL. DAY EMMA takes in the appearance of her school and makes her way towards the reception. As she is doing so, she accidentally drops her folders on the floor and paper goes everywhere. EMMA begins to get embarrassed and quickly tries to retrieve all her items when a girl (MIA), offers her a hand whilst her friend (GRACE) stands to the side. MIA smiles. MIA: (bashful) Urm, sorry about that. Youre the new girl right? Im Mia, er, if you ever need help Grace and I can help you around, if you want. EMMA looks over at GRACE who gives EMMA a big smile. EMMA: Oh, okay, thanks. Im Emma by the way. GRACE: (over enthusiastic)

Weve gotta go, our friends are waiting for usMIA: You can come with us, if you want? EMMA grins and walks towards to join the two girls. INT. EMMAS BEDROOM. NIGHT EMMA opens up Facebook and sees that she has three new friend requests from MIA, GRACE and an unknown boy called JASON MAXWELL. EMMA then begins to look through JASONs profile and sees that he shares similar interests to her whilst also being pleasantly surprised by his appearance. EMMA receives an instant message from JASON reading: Hi, its Jason, do you remember me? My old account got deactivated so I lost all my contacts aha. Rachael told me about what happened; I hope everything is okay J x EMMA giggles to herself before getting a text from MIA saying: Hey, Grace and I were thinking about going out for a coffee on Saturday. Would love you to come, let me know xo EMMA disregards the text and begins to reply to JASON, smiling to herself. EXT. OUTSIDE A COFFEE SHOP. DAY EMMA walks towards GRACE and MIAs table, smiling at her phone. MIA: Its nice to see you so happy! MIA goes inside the shop to order the coffees. GRACE: (curiously) Yeah, what is making you so happy? EMMA: (coyly) Oh EMMA laughs timidly and puts her phone on the table EMMA: Its nothing Fade Out GRACE: (disbelieving) Hm, yeah Ive heard that one before. Fade in INT. UNKNOWN ROOM. NIGHT An unknown figure (DARREN) is seen scrolling through forbidden images taken of EMMA. EXT.OUTSIDE A COFFEE SHOP.DAY EMMA shows MIA and GRACE the photo. MIA: (concerned) Yeah but who is he? Have you even met him? EMMA:

Well no, not yet anyway. EMMA gets back her phone and begins to reply to the message. MIA: You know not everyone is who they make out to be on the internet, right? GRACE: Yeah make sure hes not a creepy old man or something! INT. STEVES HOUSE. NIGHT EMMA makes her way down the hallway, about to leave to meet up with JASON. STEVE: Emma! Where are you going so late? EMMA: I'm going to see Jason dad. See you later! STEVE: Wait, what- who's Jason?! EMMA walks out the door, slamming it behind her. Shortly after, STEVE grabs his car keys and enters his car to follow EMMA. EXT. PARK. NIGHT. EMMA is sat on a park bench, dialling JASON'S number. DARREN (JASON): Hi, Emma? EMMA turns around, and drops her phone in shock to see her controlling and abusive exboyfriend Darren. DARREN: Hey, sh. Relax Emma. I- I just need you! We need to get back together! EMMA: (desperately shouting) Darren, no! How could you even do this to me? IDARREN grabs EMMA by the wrist. INT. STEVE'S CAR. NIGHT. EMMA is sat in the car crying, wiping the tears from her face. STEVE: (softly) Emma, who was that? What's going on? EMMA: (mumbling) It's nothing dad. I'm fine. INT. EMMA'S BEDROOM. NIGHT. EMMA gets a text from MIA, reading:

'Hey Emma, I'm coming round. There's something you need to see. Sorry xo' The doorbell rings, EMMA answers and lets MIA in. MIA shows EMMA the images that have been unknowingly taken of her. EMMA breaks down, while MIA hugs her for comfort. EXT. FRONT OF SCHOOL. DAY. A group of girls huddled together are looking at the images that have been taken of EMMA. GIRL 1: (whispering, bitterly) Slut, I bet her parents don't know about this. GIRL 2: Too right...She's new here as well, what a whore. EMMA overhears the girls talking, turns around and runs away. EXT. PARK. NIGHT. EMMA is lying on a bench chugging alcohol from the bottle, surrounded by other empty bottles and cans. Her eyes puffy from crying and her phone in pieces on the floor next to her. EXT. STEVE'S CAR. NIGHT. STEVE is driving slowly down the roads, trying to find EMMA after she never returned home. He finally spots her on the park bench and immediately gets out. EXT. PARK. NIGHT. STEVE runs over to EMMA. STEVE: Emma! Emma, what are you doing? I've been so worriSTEVE drops to his knees crying after he realises the state EMMA is in. STEVE fumbles for his phone and dials 999.
