Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are two software programs that many people have access to, but they remain underutilized. This session will show some practical and creative uses of the applications that you will be able to use tomorrow. This session look at Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to show creative ways to utilize their capabilities to the fullest. These programs are widely used in both educational and work settings, but many individuals are not aware of some features that may make school/work easier for them. Participants will be reminded of quick ways to check the spelling of a word and how autocorrect can reduce the amount of typing when it comes to repetitive text. The outline feature of Word is not often used, but in addition to organizing information it can be used to create electronic flashcards in PowerPoint.
