this is still an early peek; there are places where the paint and polish are missing. Despite that, you should be able to get agood idea for how exciting this release will be.We believe Microsoft
Office 2010 raises the bar for what the best productivity experience can be, across the PC, phone andbrowser. With over 500 million customers worldwide, the amount of data we receive is staggering. We are constantlyanalyzing that data to improve the products and deliver to you a consistently better experience version over version. We havetwo primary objectives. First, we focus on building all of the essentials for the way you work today, and we make sure thatthose work the way you expect. Second, we think about the way you will want to work tomorrow, and we build tools thatanticipate your changing needs.

Nearly 20 percent of the clicks in Microsoft Office are around copyand paste. Even though we support hundreds of clipboard formats across Microsoft Office to give you the highest-fidelitycopy-and-paste experience, we know that a lot of times the thing you do right after pasting is hit Undo.
inOffice 2010 gives you an advantage. When
you see a format you weren’t anticipating, you don’t have to hit Undo. Just try adifferent format, and you’ll probably get what you expected.
