Assist students in achieving their optimum growth.2.
Enable students to draw the greatest benefit from the offerings of theinstructional program of the schools.Title 22Sec. 4.343.
Aid students in identifying options and making choices in vocational and academic educational planning.4.
Assist students in career awareness and planning.5.
Help students learn to make their own decisions and to solve problemsindependently.2. Definition A program of guidance and counseling shall be offered to all students in grades through 12 and shall involve the coordinated efforts of all staff members under the professional leadership of certificated guidance and counseling personnel.3. Delegation of ResponsibilityThe Superintendent is directed to implement a guidance program which:1.
Involves all staff members at every appropriate level.2.
Honors the individuality of each student.3.
Is integrated with the total educational program.4.
Is coordinated with available resources of the community.
