COVENTRY FIREFIGHTERS MOTION FOR EMERGENCY HEARING TO SET GUIDELINES FOR MONDAYS BUDGET MEETING Coventry Professional Firefighters, Local 3372 (Union) hereby requests that this Court hold a hearing to establish certain guidelines for the conduct of the budget meeting on Monday, October 21, 2013. Specifically, the Union requests an Order from this Court as to whether the Court will permit amendments to the tax rate, levy and/or operations budget on Monday evening. Further, because the Charter provides that the Board President or, in his absence, the Vice President, shall serve as moderator, the Union requests that the Court determine whether it is appropriate for the Board to appoint a moderator in violation of the Charter.
