Francesca Keown This screenshot is the first scene in the video. It sets the scene of the song and represents the meaning of the song. The meaning to the song is that their relationship is a car crash. The effect this screenshot has on cutting to the beat is that they have included this particular scene of Adele. It is a close up which allows us to see her emotions. At this particular moment she is singing the lyrics But if I tell the world. This could reflect the lyrics as it shows her looking off into the distance, imaging what it would be like if she told the world about her feelings. This screen shot shows the girl lying on the floor. This is used as it is a close up showing her emotions. They show that she is weak and slowing giving up. The man is shown in this scene because it allows us to see his emotions, as it is a close up. It helps us to see the emotions from both his and Adeles point of view and how they are similar as they are thinking the same things.

The birds eye view of the tree is used to show that it is inferior to the girl lying on the pavement.

This screenshot shows the girls arm. They have used this particular scene as it shows the she has no energy left and is giving up.

In this screen shot it shows a number of people. It shows that they are all trying to help and save the people in the car crash. It could reflect the meaning of the song by saying that they should try and save their relationship.

The screen shot of this foot shows that she isnt wearing a shoe on her foot. This could show that she has lost it in the car crash. The effect of this scene is that is reflects the lyrics that she has lost hope in their relationship.
