A study of the buildings and landscape of Swallowfield Park, Berkshire, has been carried out to inform the preparation of a Conservation Plan for the long-term management of the estate.
The purpose of this study was to provide, through documentary research and site investigation, a baseline level of information on each of the historic components of the estate, and an assessment of their significance.
The estate is included in the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens, Grade II, and contains eight listed buildings and structures; the main house complex being listed Grade II*, while the others are all Grade II.
