OF STARVING, DESPERATE, HUMAN BEINGS. THEY ARE CITIZENS OF OTHER
COUNTRIES, TRYING TO FIND A BETTER LIFE AND HAPPINESS FOR THEIR
FAMILIES. SOUNDS FAMILIAR? NATURALLY, BECAUSE WE ARE ALL HUMAN
BEINGS. I THINK THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF ROAD SIGNS THAT HELPS

 Physical examination of female immigrants at Ellis Island, New York City 1911
