One (1) year accumulated approved seagoing service during the preceding five (5) years.A.
Company Certification of Sea Services- shall include the type of vessel, rank occupied, vessels KW, vessel’s tradingarea and inclusive dates of sea service (letterhead with dry seal)B.
Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB)- one photocopy each of pages one and two and other pagesreflecting sea service.(In case of lost/damaged SIRB, any acceptable substitute documentary proof of sea serviceand affidavit of loss shall be required.V.
National Assessment Center (NAC) Certificate for Regulations V&VINOTE: NAC certificates under Regulation V of the 1978 STCW w/less than a year validity shall be revalidated first fromthe issuing agency.CATEGORY A- Marine Engineer officers who have commenced approved education training AFTER August 1,1998.1.
Advance Fire fighting- NAC2.
Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat- NAC3.
Medical Emergency-First Aid- NAC4.
Personal Safety and Social Responsibility- NACCATEGORY B- Marine Engineer Officers who are holder of STCW ’78 Certificates in the operational Level AND have NOTbeen previously Issued STCW’95 Certificates.1.
