Bike MS 2014Organization Overview:
We mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to addressthe challenges of everyone affected by MS. MS Stops people from moving; we are here to make sure it
doesn’t.
 
Position Summary:
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Colorado-Wyoming Chapter, is looking for adynamic, energetic, responsible and organized individual to join the Development Team. The SpecialEvents and Logistics Intern is an exciting position within the chapter, working directly with the Bike MSCoordinator to assist in overseeing, managing, and coordinating certain aspects of Bike MS andassociated events.
Job Responsibilities:
Over the course of the internship position, the Bike MS Special Events and LogisticsIntern will have responsibilities including, but not limited to:
 
Assisting the Bike MS Manager with correspondence between vendors, participants, and theChapter
 
Assisting in securing restaurant sponsors for various volunteer meetings
 
Assisting with accounting, routine paperwork, mailings, faxing, check requests, and photocopying
 
Securing and organizing all DJs and entertainment for the Bike MS weekend
 
Assisting in the planning and organization of the High Roller Training Ride
 
Assisting other Chapter staff as needed
 
Attending and assisting with monthly Bike MS Committee meetings
Work environment:
Cubicle workstation. Position requires some travel. Event day responsibilities areconducted outdoors in many possible weather conditions.
Location:
Most work will be done out of the Denver office located at 900 South Broadway, Suite 250,Denver, CO 80209
