Jan’s feeling of Comfort
 
Jan had lived most of her life in a small farming town. She loved thepeople who lived there. Ofter Jan thought how wonderful it was tolive in a town that was so full of friendly people.
One day, Jan’s father came home from work and told the family tha
the was changing his job and that they would be moving to a largercity.Jan felt sad and upset each time she thought of moving. It was hardfor her to think that soon she was going to leave her friends, home,school, and ward behind.Jan was worried. She wondered if she would have a hard timemaking new friends. What would her new home and ward be like?Would the schoolwork be too hard for her?No one was able to help her get rid of her worried feelings. Jandecided to pray and ask Heavenly Father for help. Jan prayed toHeavenly Father with all her heart. Asshe prayed, something wonderfulbegan to happen. All of the worriedfeelings started to go away. Jan feltthat someone was comforting her.Who do you think was comforting Jan?The Holy
Ghost. Jan’s family moved, and everything turned out find.
She always remembered the loving help she received from HeavenlyFather through the Holy Ghost.
