The Michigan Environmental Scorecard

The Scorecard is our most recognized accountability tool. Every two years, Michigan LCV staff compiles and analyzes the votes on every piece of legislation that has been voted on in the Michigan Legislature that has a direct impact on conservation, environmental quality, and public health. The Scorecard provides summary explanations of each piece of legislation, and assigns each lawmaker with a percentage score based on their votes for or against Michigan's natural resources. We have also included and analysis of the actions of the Governor and the State Supreme Court that relate to environmental and conservation policy.
