Faux Shaving Cream Tutorial

If you’ve ever tried the Shaving Creamtechnique, but don’t want all the mess and stillwant the effect (with a little bit of a “twist”), thisis a great alternative technique. No shavingcream required and no mess!
Finished dimensions: 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
 
 
Supplies:
* Large flower, daisy and leaf images from Bodacious Bouquetset, “thank you” image fromWonderful Words set (bothStampin’ UP)* Cardstock: Certainly Celery,Perfect Plum, Whisper White* Ink: Certainly Celery, PerfectPlum* black gingham ribbon
Step 1:
Cut a piece of Certainly Celery cardstock at4 ¼ x 11 inches. Fold in half to create thecardbase.
Step 2:
Stamp the “thank you” image across the bottomof the cardbase with Perfect Plum ink.
 
 
Step 3:
Stamp the leaf image around the edges of thecard front with Certainly Celery ink, alsostamping above the “thank you” image.
Step 4:
Ink up the large flower image with PerfectPlum ink. Make sure you get this imageinked up really well.
Step 5:
 Turn the stamp rubber side up. Twistthe daisy image against the large flowerimage, moving over the entire image,twisting as you go. The twisting actionis important as otherwise it would justbe the “kissing technique.”This is what creates the “Faux ShavingCream” look.Cut a piece of Whisper Whitecardstock at 2 ½ x 2 ¾ inches andstamp the large flower image on it.
