November 2008 held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre, (PICC)Putrajaya. This conference will be officiated by the Chief Secretary to theGovernment of Malaysia, Y. Bhg Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan.The Open Source Competency Centre (OSCC) has successfully completedPhase I of theMalaysian Public Sector OSS Master Plan Programme,which focused on Laying the Foundation and Early Adoption stages. Theprogramme is currently inPhase II - Accelerated Adoptionstage, whichtargets to further accelerate OSS adoption in Public Sector.The Malaysian Government Open Source Software Conference(MyGOSSCON) is an event held to support the Phase II - AcceleratedAdoption. Following the success of the first MyGOSSCON in 2007, thispopular event is back again this year to bring you the latest trends in OSS.A host of local and international speakers will present 35 papers coveringglobal trends, technology, education, success stories and many moreinteresting topics. The OSS Showcase Exhibition will have about 40 boothsdisplaying various OSS solutions available for both public and privatesector users.
