Some of the members own their own PCs and will be able to check their email frequently. However, most members do not own their own PCs and will have to go to a little internet cafe to check their email. They may check their email on an irregular basis. It varies from member to member. This is why you should never rely ONLY on sending emails. In some cases, junk mail and spam can make email a less effective way of saying hi. As we have said, it is always a good idea to call, email, and send a letter, too. RECOMMENDATIONS: Calling on the Phone: Please remember to not call the member after 10:00PM their time. The members in the service are nice, attractive, and sweet and loyal, but the trade off is that it is not immediate gratification. Love is a process. In the long run, you will do better than with local people. We ask you on the site to take a longer-term view. The rewards in the end can be great. Remember to save your addresses. Once we receive your payment, we will give you the phone number of our translator here in Miami. You call them and work out the details of making your call to Brazil. If you use 1010834 then the 011-55 -(city code) - ( local number), the fee is only 23 cents per minute. Cheap! With a translator, you can have a 3-way conversation. She can hear your voice and get the feel and tone of your personality. Our translator can then put it into Portuguese so she can understand it. And vice a versa. If you make a call with our translator but the member is not home or the line is busy, then there will be default of 2 minutes of your block of time. It is only $3.00. But is is a necessary charge because you are using the time of our translator. Over all, we think this is a great service at a cheap price. AT&T has a similar service for $5.00 per minute.
