Thiswas the largest Cinerama screen in the USA atthe time at 77 x 28 ft. this theatre was leased toStanley Warner Cinerama* Februray 10, 1954 "This is Cinerama" opened* Late 1950's sold to St. Louis Amusements* 1959 Cinerama screen removed to a newbuilding on Lindell* 1970's The Ambassador under the direction of the Arthur Theatres made many attemptsthrough the 70's to make it as a movie theaterand live concert venue but they all failed
