 Andrew Morin, who neared century mark, dies at Poplar Hospital. One of Sheridan County's oldest citizens, who was within 14 months of reaching the age of 100, died Sunday at a government hospital in Poplar. The aged citizenwas Andrew Morin of Medicine Lake, whose death occurred after nearly a century of living, from a general breakdown of the physical forces. At the time of death he was 98 years and 8 months of age, having been born January 9, 1841 in Canada. Andrew Morin was a Chippewa Indian, and was listed as one of the oldest Indians of the territory. He came to Sheridan Countyin 1908 from the Turtle Mountain region, with his wife and family, locating four miles southeast of Medicine Lake. His wife died in 1928. The past two years he lived with relatives in Medicine Lake. Among those surviving are six sons and daughters. Thereare 54 grandchildren and 131 great grandchildren. There are also several great grandchildren. The sons and daughters are: Alfred of Medicine Lake; Isadore and Peter of the Turtle Mountains; Pat, St. Louis, Missouri;Mrs. John Longee, Belcourt, North Dakota; and Mrs. James Sayer, Poplar. Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Catholic Church at Medicine Lake at 10o'clock, with the Rev. Fr. Vance of Culbertson in charge
