Wow, I did not expect such a huge interest inthis workshop and can only attribute it to mywonderfully supportive learning networks of lifelong learners! I have decided to keep it open, informal and not restrict numbers and we willsee how it goes. I can only do this as I am joinedby some old hands and some technicalexperienced learning friends to help make life abit easier for all of us (see bottom). Thank youfor your willingness to help mentor others!Online learning can be messy (especially a un-workshop where we are designing the workshop on the fly) so here aresome suggestions to help you cope:-Bookmark theworkshop pagewhere everything will be linked from.Always start from there otherwise you will get lost in all the socialgoing-ons-You can control your level of involvement, but if you are seriousabout achieving the outcomes (To blog and twitter for teaching andlearning) try and keep up with the activities as much as you can butdon’t panic if you can’t…-Ask for help. You can twitter me (@maggiev) or any of thefacilitators/others or , leave a reply on theHelp threador send mean e-mail (maggie@maggie.co.za)-If you are really stressed for time (aren’t we all ;-( ), readthe dailysummariesto catch up on workshop life.-I will be creating a learning pathway with the barebones step bystep walk-throughs at the end of every week (Wednesdays)Seemain workshop page-We will also be having a live “webinar” every Friday between 4pm-5pm (GMT+2), for those who would like to actually talk/chat liveabout what we are doing.-Meet up in the chat room (real-time) on the network every daybetween 4-5 (GMT+2), for the human touch.
