If Windows XP, try:
Turn off Sound Acceleration
1. Locate the Volume or Speaker icon in the lower rightcorner of your task bar. Right-click the volume icon, thenclick Adjust Audio Properties. (You can also find this in your Control Panel under Sounds and Audio Devices.)2. This will bring up the Sound and Audio Propertiesscreen. You will see two Advanced buttons. Click on thebottom-most Advanced button.3. Click on the Performance tab.4. Locate the Hardware Acceleration area. Move the tabto the left and set to None.5. Click Apply, then click OK.6. Close this window and test the program to see if theproblem has been resolved.
 
If Mac OSX 10.3.9, 10.4.x, 10.5.x., try:
Change QuickTime to Long Delay 
1. At your desktop, click on the Apple in the upper left corner.2. Click on System Preferences.3. Locate QuickTime Player and double-click to open(in the section named Internet and Network Connections).Note: If you cannot locate QuickTime you can search for it byclicking on the magnifying glass in the upper right corner.4. Once QuickTime is open, click on the Streaming button tohighlight.5. Move the tab at the bottom all the way over to the right, toLong Delay.6. Close this window and test the program to see if the problemhas been resolved.
