Computer applicationsare used to simulate both real and imaginary environments like artsand entertainment in performing in virtual reality. It is used in thenatural and social sciences to gain insight into the functioning of natural and social systems. The distinction between the virtual and thereal is also discussed in this chapter. This popular conception of thecontrasting definition of virtuality and reality can be demonstratedincorrectly.
