HIS WARS, HIS HONOR.
A Simple Teacher

O’Francis’ saga continues in the small community in which he chose to settle with his family. The background that reflects the concept of a Middle American small town nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Appalachian Mountains concealed a political system with a seedy underbelly. O’Francis’ enduring effort to make the school in which he worked a drug free institution, with some degree of morals, and a more knowledge gaining environment for the students puts him in a lone wolf position. His persistence to educate his students about prejudice and discrimination created an environment for his antagonists to increase the character assassination of his good name. The ever increasing pressure applied by the administration and their loyal subservient disciples brought to surface the post traumatic stress disorder, his personal ghosts frequently rising up in their darkest form, flashing him back to his younger days as a simple soldier, keeping O’Francis in a state of mental duress.
When O’Francis refused to succumb to the “inline” political ideology of the bastardized system in which he worked, his adversaries went after his sons.
Most of his colleagues submit to the Reynolds Reich or just move in the shadows never getting involved, and the few he trusted, would in the end betray him.
The only happiness he has is with his family and his oldest son’s positive productive progress through his high school years and the large number of students that grace his “Think Tank.”
