They're really easy to make. In addition to yarn, stuffing, and a crochet hook, youneed a little plastic cup, the size of a Dixie brand cup. I got mine from the 'Buck (askfor a few of their sample size cups).
Ice Cream Scoop
You'll be making a circle, adding a few plain rows, then finishing with a scallopededge.Rnd 1: With ice cream colour, 4 sc into a ring (4 sts).Rnd 2: sc twice in each st (8 sts).Rnd 3: * sc twice in next st, sc next st, rep from * (12 sts).Rnd 4: * sc twice in next st, sc next 2 sts, rep from * (16 sts).Rnd 5: * sc twice in next st, sc next 3 sts, rep from * (20 sts).Rnd 6: * sc twice in next st, sc next 4 sts, rep from * (24 sts).Rnd 7: * sc twice in next st, sc next 5 sts, rep from * (28 sts).Rnds 8-10: sc each st (28 sts).Rnd 9 (scalloped edge): * sl st in next sc, 3 sc into next st, rep from *Bind off.
Cone
You'll make a circle that fits the base of the plastic cup, crochet the sides of thecone, then finish off with two rows of double crochet. One row of double crochet willbe folded outwards and tacked down.Rnd 1: With cone colour, 4 sc into a ring (4 sts).Rnd 2: sc twice in each st (8 sts).Rnd 3: * sc twice in next st, sc next st, rep from * (12 sts).Rnd 4: * sc twice in next st, sc next 2 sts, rep from * (16 sts). This is the base of the cone.Rnd 5: sc through the back loop of each st (16 sts).Rnds 6-7: sc all sts (16 sts).Rnd 8: * sc twice in next st, sc next 3 sts, rep from * (20 sts).Rnds 9-10: sc all sts (20 sts).Rnd 11: * sc twice in next st, sc next 4 sts, rep from * (24 sts).Rnd 12: sc all sts, sl st in next sc (24 sts).Rnd 13: ch 3 (first dc), dc through the back loop of each st, sl st in the first dc (24sts).Rnd 14: ch 3 (first dc), dc all sts, sl st in the first dc in the round (24 sts).Bind off. Fold one layer of dc outwards and tack down to the cone.
