Behavior Management Plan
–
In our classroom there is a pocket chart that I useto monitor the behavior of the students. Each child has a green, yellow, and redcard above their name. If a child breaks the classroom rules, they move their cardfrom green to yellow. This serves as a warning. If they break a rule a second time, they move their card
from yellow to red. Your child’s behavior will be marked each
day on a monthly calendar
that is placed inside your child’s home/school folder.
Birthdays
–
Birthdays are very important to children. Children are welcome tobring a treat for our class on their birthday. Please make sure it is an individualserving, and you include napkins with your t
reat. If your child’s birthday
falls on aSaturday or Sunday you may decide if you want to send the treat on Friday orMonday. Children who celebrate a birthday during the summer months maycelebrate their half birthday in school. If your child is planning a birthday party at home and wants to invite theirclassmates, it is always best to mail the invitations. This will avoid hurting thefeelings of children in our room who may not be invited. If this is not possible,
please put them in your child’s
home/school folder and I will make sure they aredistributed.
