BSTRACT
In six parallel documents (M6.EVP.001, M6.EVP.002,M6.EVP.004, M6.EVP.005, M6.EVP.006, and M6.EVP.008), EPA notedthat a potentially significant portion of evaporative emissions(from the in-use fleet) may be the result of a small number ofvehicles leaking liquid gasoline (rather than gasoline vapors). This document describes EPA's approach (in MOBILE6) to estimatingboth the frequency of occurrence vehicles with these significantleaks of liquid gasoline and the magnitude of the emissionsresulting from those leaks. This report was originally released (as a draft) in June1999. This current version is the final revision of that draft. This final revision incorporates suggestions and commentsreceived from stakeholders during the 60-day review period andfrom peer reviewers.
