C Padanan satu-kepada-satu (One-to-one correspondence)

Many young children have memorized the

number words in the proper order, but sometimes do not yet understand the concept of one-to-one correspondence. For example, they might say "1, 2, 3, 4, 5" but skip an object. Or, they count an object twice. Children need many opportunities to practice saying one number with one object.

One-to-One Correspondence is the ability to

match numbers to objects or object to object; for example, the number 6 matching 6 snap cubes, or matching one spoon to one fork. Counting and One-to-One Correspondence are the foundations of early math concepts

Aktiviti
Counting steps as we climb the staircase of our

apartment, or the over head bridge. Encourage your child to count aloud as he goes. This is also a good opportunity to practice those large motor skills. Instead of steps, you may also invite your child to discover how many jumps or hops it takes to get from one place to another (eg. from the living room to the balcony) Counting the number of apples or oranges and putting them into the grocery basket during grocery shopping. Counting the forks and spoons that are needed to set the table for dinner.

These are some ideas and learning aids that you could use to help your child pick up the concept of one-to-one correspondence. Cupcake File Folder Game Ten Little Jelly Beans (jelly beans template; number cards) Raindrops counting Apple Counting Game Count Me In
