Water: The Elixir of Life

Water: The Elixir of Life
Water is the single most important substance for life on this planet.Without water, no life would be possible. Water is so important, it iseverywhere, wherever you look on this planet. It is in the atmosphere ashumidity, clouds or rain, it is in the Earth’s crust within the rock and soilfabric, and it is in every living being, animal or plant. Humans are made upof over 70% water.Ancient cultures and civilisations had great respect for water andworshipped this “life substance” which they often equated with life forceand surrounded with myths and legends. These people knew the vitalimportance of water.Today, people in the developed world take water largely for granted andtreat it as a low cost commodity rather than the priceless elixir it is. Apartfor drinking purposes it is used for the disposal and transport of wastes, washing, cooling, heating and a multitude of industrial processes. Thepollution of our planet through careless and greedy use (or, should we say, misuse) of its mineral resources has brought about the inevitable pollutionof water, inevitable because water is everywhere. Our environmentaldilemma boils down to attitude. The Native American chief Seattle oncesaid: “The white man believes that the Earth belongs to him, we believe thatman belongs to the Earth”. We think this says it all.Conventional science regards water as the lifeless substance H

O that water has been reduced from amythical elixir to a molecular compound.Once, science comprised the spiritual sciences of Alchemy andMetaphysics and sought an holistic understanding of nature. With thetaking of the industrial path some 200 years ago, the spiritual enquiry wasneglected by the mainstream scientific establishment in favour of a purelymaterialistic and rational understanding of natural and technologicalprocesses. One of the basic premises of science is reproducibility. Anyphenomenon to be scientifically validated needs to be reproducible. As faras water is concerned, reproducibility may not always be possible, becausewater reacts to extremely subtle influences. Snowflakes, for instance, allhave their individual shapes. There are no such things as identicalsnowflakes. This singularity is a characteristic of nature and makes thetesting of natural phenomena under natural circumstances very difficult. Asa result, science has chosen a level of enquiry at which test results appear

reproducible. After all, what isn’t reproducible is notscientific!Another mysterious aspect of water is its apparentability to shape organic forms. Theodor Schwenkinvestigated this in the 1960s and wrote about it in hisbook
Sensitive Chaos.
What Schwenk came to realisewas that organic expressions of the natural world hadlocked in them the dynamics of water motion. The tissueof the walls of the human heart and arteries is formedwith a twist. The fibres of the tissue run in a spirallingway. This means that blood flowing through thesevessels is caused to spiral as well.At the pre-embryonicstate, the informationand genetic make-up of that being was held in awatery solution. Water,as we shall explore lateron, has a natural desireto flow in spirals. Thismotion is intrinsic to thevery nature of water. InSchwenk’s opinion thisintrinsic watery motion isprimary - the cardio-vascular system issecondary and wasformed in harmony withthe original flow. Similarly, he observed that animalssuch as rays and jelly fish are almost moulded aroundwatery motion. The movement and propulsion of theray is very much that of the wave. When the jelly fishswims, it causes turbulences in the water that are amirror image of its own form.
The Memory of Water Phenomenon andHomeopathy
Apart from the many well researched properties of water, which make it unique as the life supporter of thisplanet, there is one ability of water that mainstreamscience has tried to ignore and deny. It is the “memoryof water phenomenon”. This phenomenon obviouslylies beyond the accepted level of enquiry and little efforthas been made by conventional research institutes tounderstand this phenomenon. However there areexceptions, and an exciting new understanding isemerging of the marvellous substance - water. Variousresearchers, such as Prof. Benveniste, Dr. Ludwig andProf. Schweitzer, have provided clear proof that wateracts as a liquid tape recorder and is able to receive, storeand transmit electromagnetic vibrations. Because watermolecules have a positive and negative pole, theybehave like little magnets. They attach themselves totheir neighbouring molecules and form clusters of several hundred molecules. This has been known forsome time. These clusters are very sensitive structuresand vibrational influences can impress themselves uponthem. This is what gives water the ability to storeinformation. This is closely linked to homeopathy. In homeopathya substance is diluted so many times, that eventuallythere is no molecule of the original substance left. Yet itstill has an effect. This has been shown in countlessexperiments, and, after all, homeopathy is 200 years oldand still going strong.Homeopathy works because of the cluster’s ability tostore vibrational imprints. Every substance and elementhas it’s own individual vibrational pattern - a bit like anenergy blueprint. If you carry out the homeopathicprocess of diluting and succussing, this vibrationalpattern becomes locked into the cluster structure of water. When you drink this homeopathically preparedremedy, the cluster structure is transferred into you andyou respond to the vibrational pattern of the originalsubstance with which the remedy was prepared. This phenomenon was shown to occur under rigidscientific conditions by Prof. Benveniste in France in thelate 1980s and was confirmed by researchers at fivedifferent universities. It caused quite a stir and asubsequent cover-up by the mainstream scientificcommunity
Pollution
If water is as susceptible to vibrational imprinting asthis, will it also take on the imprints of environmentalpollutants and chemicals and transfer them to us whenwe drink water? It does seem to be so; Dr. WolfgangLudwig in Germany has carried out tests which showthat not only do the physical pollutants have a damagingeffect, but also the water which has been exposed tothose pollutants, because the cluster structure has takenon those vibrational imprints. This has hugeramifications for us all. Basically, conventional waterand sewage treatment systems are not adequate. Theymay remove the physical pollutants and produce tapwater that is chemically clean, however the clusterstructure of the water is completely unaffected by thetreatment and will, after treatment, still convey thevibrational pattern of toxins and chemicals to thehuman body. But the problems do not end with tapwater. There is no water course on this planet that iscompletely unaffected by human impact. Atmosphericpollution, coming from industrial processes, nucleartests and electromagnetic pollution, coming from theglobal power and communications grid, have all had anegative impact world wide.

Nature’s Cycles
Our planet is part of the cosmos. As such it is inconstant “communication” with what is happening inour solar system and beyond. The cyclic phases of themoon, planetary constellations, sunspot activity, etc. allhave an effect on this Earth and life on it.Water appears to act as the sensory organ of theEarth for these cosmic cycles. Tides are a well knowexamples of how water reacts to the phases of themoon. Theodor Schwenk, whom we’ve mentionedearlier, was one of the pioneers investigating the subtleeffects of the cosmos on water. He developed methodswhich clearly showed variations in water response tochanges in planetary constellation. He found thatmoving water acts as a receiver, while still waterpreserves the received information. He carried outexperiments with water throughout a solar eclipse.Samples of water were shaken at regular intervalsbefore, throughout and after the solar eclipse. Grains of wheat were subsequently germinated in the varioussamples of water. Schwenk found that the growth of wheat germs was stunted in the samples of water whichwere shaken during the solar eclipse, whereas thegrowths were normal before and after the eclipse. Thiscorrelation of planetary constellation and plant growthwas confirmed using other techniques.Lawrence Edwards carried out fascinating work onhow the shape of tree buds changes during the wintermonths with the planetary alignment. He tookphotographs of a beech tree bud every day during thewinter months and found that it changed shape, following a fortnightly rhythm right through the winter. This rhythm, which was confirmed by studies on manytrees from different areas, coincided with a particularline up of the planet Saturn, the moon and the Earth.Other trees were found to have cycles coinciding withother alignments. For example, the oak coincides withthe alignment of Mars, the birch with Venus and thecherry with the Sun. Similar cyclic patterns apply toflower buds too.The 16th century herbalist and astrologer NicolasCullpepper realised that all plants and herbs areassociated with different planets and need to be pickedat specific times. Water is highly susceptible to changesin cosmic constellation and, because the Earth is largelycovered by water, it acts as a mediator between Cosmosand Earth. It is receptive to cosmic information andconveys this information to all living organisms, sincethey are largely composed of water. The whole Cosmos works on harmony; that’s whatkeeps it all together. The Earth is part of the whole andis governed by cosmic laws. That’s why the Earth’smagnetic and electric fields are all in tune with the wholecosmic set up. All living organisms, including humans, need these natural outside influences to function welland to keep themselves in tune with the cosmos.Let us look at the hydrological cycle. Waterevaporates from the seas providing the atmosphere withwater, which condenses forming clouds and rain. Rainfalls to the ground where part of it runs off and flowsback into the seas via river systems. The other part of itpermeates into the ground and replenishes thegroundwater reserves before, after a period of time, feeding back into the river systems. When water runs off without percolating through the ground, it is passingthrough what could be termed an half hydrologicalcycle. When it takes the detour through the ground asgroundwater it is carrying out the full hydrological cycle. This detour of water through the ground is immenselyimportant. When the hydrological cycle is tamperedwith and the natural full cycle is reduced, we are makingourselves prone to natural disasters. These should notreally be called natural disasters, because they are aresult of man’s intervention. For example, in the lastcouple of hundred years the area of concrete and tarmaccover has increased tremendously. The surface of theEarth is being covered over. Water is channelled, ratherthan being allowed to percolate through the ground.Forests, which promote the percolation of water throughthe ground, are cut down. What are the effects? -changes in climate and freak weather patterns, droughts, lowering of the water table, soil erosion, riverfloods, desertification, etc., etc., etc.

As achild the old traditionalknowledge about trees, water and log transportwere passed down tohim. As a forester, he hadample opportunity of studying the workings of nature in unspoilt Alpineforests.
