Solon wants total ban of incandescent light bulbs

A Metro Manila congressman is proposing to ban the production, distribution and use of incandescent light bulbs to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases which cause global warming. Rep. Amado Bagatsing (5th District, Manila) filed House Bill ! ", to be #nown as the $Banning of %ncandescent &ight Bulb Act of "'! ,( which promotes the use of )ompact *luorescent &ight ()*&) Bulbs.
