Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet, salty, and spicy, these sweet potato fries are just brimming with flavor. By baking them at a high temperature, they crisp up nicely on the outside but stay creamy
on the inside, just as they would if you fried them, but without all the greasiness. I
reckon these fries are a perfect guilt-free snack. Serves 4

2 large sweet potatoes,

peeled
1 tablespoon olive oil
teaspoon salt
8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 425F.

2. Slice the potatoes into -inch-wide slices and toss with
the oil, salt, cayenne, and cinnamon. Spread on a large
ungreased rimmed baking sheet.
3. Roast, tossing occasionally, until tender and golden,
about 25 minutes.

Spice of Life

You can change up these fries in so many ways by experimenting with different spices. Switch out the cinnamon for
nutmeg or a smoky paprika. Or try Cajun seasoning for a
kick of the Bayou. At a party, I like to serve these with a spicy
yogurt dip.
