Description

This is a character study I DID last November that will ultimately become a protagonist in a novel that I’m working on, but since the novel has taken a different direction that the stuff I put into this piece, I’m closing the door on this journal entry and offering it here.
I wanted to explore the idea of electronically induced attention defecit disorder and the way that I see geek culture feeding this distracted mindset. The description of Kevin’s workspace pretty accurately describes my own homeoffice.
I never gave this a title, because it is really nothing more than an polished journal entry, so I’m just going to call it “The Concentrator.”
