Contractor shall be responsible for labor, material and equipment for all masonry andstone work at the site, interior and exterior of the Georgetown Neighborhood Library asindicated in bid documents (100% Final Construction Drawings and Specifications datedJuly 9, 2009). Available on CD. Work includes but is not limited to the followingspecification sectionsDivision 1 – General RequirementsDivision 4 – Masonry04810 Masonry Assemblies04860 Stone MasonryDivision 7 – Thermal and Moisture Protection07920 Joint Sealants (As applicable for your work)1.
Furnish and install brick veneer similar to existing at locations indicated,including, but not limited to the south façade Lower Level, thehandicapped ramp, retaining walls, trash shed and HVAC structure perdetails shown on AS-0.01 thru AS-0.03.2.
Furnish and install bluestone cladding at exterior wall at garden.3.
Furnish and install miscellaneous brick and concrete piers for sitewrought iron fence work similar to existing.4.
Include any and all concrete masonry unit partitions throughout thebuilding.5.
Furnish and install limestone copings, caps and sills.6.
Furnish and install fieldstone veneer.7.
Include grouted bond beams as indicated at door openings.8.
Include required reinforcing steel, accessories and flashings.9.
Caulking and sealing of control and expansion joints that fall within andadjacent to the masonry work.10.
Anchors and ties as required for anchorage of masonry and stone toadjacent structure11.
Install built in items furnished by others such as sleeves, bolts, inserts,access panels and miscellaneous metals.12.
Expansion and control joints as required for your work including toadjacent materials.
