Sustainable Water Management (NaWaM): Funding for Serial Summer Schools in Germany
| Title: System Solutions to Integrated Water Resources Management | By financial support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Fraunhofer Application Center Ilmenau, Ilmenau University of Technology and German Water Partnership/ Country section Central Asia, obtained the opportunity to organize an International Serial Summer School in years 2012, 2013 and 2014 in Germany. | Joining 2nd serial summer school, you have the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge about the integrated management of waterenergy systems with systematic methods by one-week lectures, tutorials and working in project groups, followed by several visits of water reservoirs including pumped-storage power plant, drinking water production, treatment and supply systems and waste water treatment plants. | The Language will be English.

Who can apply for:


| Participants from Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Jordan, Iran, Vietnam and Indonesia, who are working, studying, and researching in sector of water and energy management are called to apply for our Serial Summer School program. Participants should be: | Master students, PhD-students, scientific coworkers at universities and research institutes | Working in sector of water and energy management, water authorities, the area of decision support systems, sustainable development, water-energy, management | People with contacts to German enterprises or interested in contacts, multipliers who are in a position to distribute acquired knowledge and/ or experiences, decision makers in respective levels

PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME

General Information
| Participants, invited guests, and our staffs will work together with you on most recent development of system solutions for the management of water-energy systems. You are also invited to contribute by your activities in water sector. | Moreover excursions to practical waterenergy systems and production companies (production of small waste water treatment plants, production of pumps), reservoirs, a hydro power pumping station, drinking water treatment plant, and wastewater treatment plant will be arranged. | As well as Participants will be asked to contribute their own experiences by presenting their paper or heading a project group discussion, respectively.
