Description

Like many large urban school systems, the Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) has struggled to maintain high graduation rates, with students obtaining a standard diploma within 4 years of entering high school. According to the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), the
cohort graduation rate for cohorts 2003-2004 to 2006-2007 was 64.3%. For this time period, Duval ranked 6th out of the 7 largest school districts in Florida.
