 Subject: City Council candidates questionnaire
Dear Asheville Mayoral and City Council candidates,I represent a local group called WNC for Change (
wncforchange.com
). Weare a grassroots organization formed to promote President Obama'sagenda. Part of our mission is to also support local politics in-line withPresident Obama's agenda. We are hosting a candidates forum in early September (most likelySept 3, will have confirmation soon). It will be a simple Q&A formathosted by a moderator. Questions will be gathered beforehand fromour members and supporters. Some questions may be asked by our audience. The forum will represent candidates that represent our mission. Inorder to select those candidates, I've included a questionnaire below(also attached PDF). We would be grateful to have you fill it out in fulland return to us by Mon Aug 17. Shortly thereafter, we'll invite thoseselected candidates. Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank you and good luck on your elections,Paul ChoiDirector WNC for Change
