When the MS is powered-on, it enters the MS-Initialization state with a power-upindication. In this state it performs cell search and carrier detection, finally campingon to a cell.. Once t has camped on to a cell it listens to the Primary paging channelin the Ms-Idle state. The state has MS-Initialization has 4 sub-states where themobile performs in which it performs all the vital functions before entering the MS-Idle State.
