 ABOUT THE AUTHOR The author, who writes under the pen-name Harun Yahya, was born in Ankara in 1956. He studied arts atIstanbul's Mimar Sinan University, and philosophy atIstanbul University. Since the 1980s, the author haspublished many books on political, faith-related andscientific issues. His main focus has been the refutationof Darwinism and materialism, two modern myths presented under ascientific guise.
